Update: I am slowly but surely trying to add back all the blogs I used to read, if I have lost your link please do not be offended I am trying my damn hardest to get them all back.

I did this myself once - and BUGGER it certainly is!
I too managed to do this during a template change. I was saved, of all low-tech things, by a printout of the page I'd done for completely different reasons many moons previously. Its a royal pain when you first realise, though.
