Why is this of some importance? Well the Brazilians just put a not-so-polite request to the UK, along with a load of other South American countries, to hand over the Falklands. This new aircraft carrier puts the ball firmly in their court when it comes to leverage. Hopefully this is only a lot of hot air fuming from a bunch of people on a power trip, hopefully. The only good thing about this horse dump of a situation, is that the aircraft carrier is French built so it will probably surrender if good turns to bad.

Mmm, interesting development.
As a french build weapon it should surrender as soon as possible. Why not right now ? Like the Exocet did in 1982. Just ask the survivors of HMS Sheffield.
You can always count on Mr. Mordrelle to support the French. Mr. Mordrelle, this is just a jesting do not take it too seriously. Please do not make me remind you of all the French losses over the past centuries and why you currently have 'surrender' epitet attached to your country. It is just a bit of fun as said, do not take it seriously.
The Americans and the EU won't come to our rescue and we can hardly afford to fight another war!
Perhaps the US and EU want a chunk of the Falklands oil fields. Or power-sharing.
Coolbeans. Our nuke sub has something to aim at...!
And this time we've already got a sub in place too. A stunning ship, and, as a target, every skippers wet dream. The Brazilian destroyer screen is mostly quite old now which should help.
Happy hunting, chaps!

Why not ? Please, just do that. It's a constant and useful lesson to debunk French arrogance.
You have to stop doing that! First you are really annoying then you retort with a polite comment which means you have the moral high ground. I cannot say anything rude now. Blasted...
And that is why we have nuclear attack submarines...
